To reach the entire population of Gotland, Folktandvården has clinics in several locations around the island.

Folktandvården Slite, Roma, and Hemse are located in rural areas and are equivalent in their organization regarding patient numbers and staffing. Visby is Gotland's largest locality, and here you will find Folktandvården Wisby and the Oral and Maxillofacial Center, which is the specialist clinic and competence center for dentistry. The clinics in Slite and Roma are temporarily paused.

Folktandvården Gotland's goal is to work health-oriented, see the whole person, and collaboratively address public health issues with other organizations. Our mission is to support good oral health development for the entire population of Gotland and to provide high-quality dental care to all patients.

Introduction and Competence Development

To give you the best possible start as a new employee, we offer a structured and individualized introduction program during your first year. The program is tailored to your needs and complemented by qualified supervision – both from experienced colleagues and, if necessary, from specialists – so that you feel secure and have good conditions for developing in your role.

With us, you will have the opportunity to use all your skills while further developing through the broad treatment panorama that Folktandvården's operations offer. As an employee, you also have access to continuous professional development through the Oral and Maxillofacial Center.

Your Responsibilities

As a dentist at Folktandvården Gotland, you will work full-time clinically with the entire treatment panorama for both children and adolescents as well as adults. The work includes orthodontics, implant-supported prosthetics, endodontics, periodontology, dentoalveolar surgery, and emergency dental care.

We offer flexibility in employment degree based on your needs and placement at the clinics depending on your preferences.

We are looking for you who are a newly graduated licensed dentist and who want to grow with us.

In your role, you are dedicated with a strong commitment and an enthusiastic approach to your work. We see that you have good collaboration skills and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and respectful manner. You are meticulous, collegial, and flexible. With us, we support each other and maintain a positive attitude with open communication.
